Since it has been established in 1975, the BCSC is responsible for
the automation processing of NL's bibliographical works, including among other
things, the following assignments:
-
Preparation of
bibliographies and indices.

Rendering advice and
expertise.

Cooperating with UNESCO
in the preparation of the Index Translation.

Supervising the NL's
bibliographic data base.

Carrying out the NL's
Network Systems.

Storing bibliographic
data of Arabic and foreign books ( The Accession List ).
-
Training of the NL's
employees with a view to building a formidable workstation which is capable
of resuming the NL's development projects.
