
The legal archives include several groups:
First: The
group of legal archives (rolls):
A great part of this group relevant to princes and sultan of
Egypt, the oldest ones of archives are belonging to Fatimid era, these are the
archives of endowments ( WAKFAS) of the prince Alsaleh Talae Ben Razbak in the
year 544 H.
1- Ayubites Era: The
archives of the andowment (wakfs) of Aladel king year 613 H.
2- Mamluke Era: in 725 H:
The archives of the endowments (wakfs) of Farg don of sultan mohamed Kalawon.
Second: Agroup
of the official books of the religious courts:
Represented by records of religious court of Egypt – Alexandria
court – Mansourah court – Rosetts court – Porte court – The military
portion court – The arabian portion court.
Avery great group of the records of the
religious courts have been moved to the National Archives, The final technical
procedures are carring out now.
Third: The
archives group of ministry of justice 1875 – 1923 G
Include archives dealing with the administrative organizing of
religious courts – national courts – court5s of Appeal – Mixed courts -
…etc
