Since the early Twentieth century, the Egyptian National Library possessed a number of libraries presented by their owners to the Egyptian National Library, in addition to the libraries confiscated from the royal palaces. These libraries contain a huge wealth of manuscripts, printings, Arabic and foreign periodicals, Travel literature and geography volumes in addition to a big collection of maps and paintings. All of these libraries are nonindexed, unavailable to the public and kept on the 8th floor in the Egyptian National library building in Corniche El-Nile except the manuscripts separated from these collections and kept in the manuscript department which was established in 1952.These libraries are located on the 8th floor of the tower building which contains book stores. The 8th floor in the Egyptian National Library building is divided into two sides with a corridor separating them. The right side contains the following libraries:
