Reading Services:
The researchers are allowed to see and read documents and archival unit provided that it does not contradict wit the state public interest.

The researcher instructions:
This service aims at help researchers to use the available source of information.

Preparing lists and summaries:
1- The Egyptian National Archives prepares various indexes for its archival collections. And other indexes for legal documents of the middle ages, in addition to the index of the rosenajmah which is written in siaket and Kiramah hand writing.
2- The National Archives also provided a card index for archival collections.
3- There is also a group of researches that include information about the documents the deal with the same subject.

Copying and reproduction services :
The National Archives provides copies of the documents that researchers demand for their researches. In addition, it has microfilms of some archival collections to be used instead of originals.

Internet Service:
The National Archives has lately intrtoduced the internet service for researchers to get acquainted with the lates about the documents and documentation in Arab and world archives.

Translation:
Since being established. The Egyptian National Archives has provided translations of the Turkish, French, English, German documents that it has in the form of summaries or full translations.

The library and printed matters service:
The library of the National Archives is considered one of the most important researches tools because it is a growing specialized one. In addition, the National Archives provides a hall for printed documents and this hall has a lot of periodicals, statistic, budgets….etc.

Educational Services:
The National Archives receives researchers from some foreign countries and university students to get trained on archival classification and indexing, as well as to get acquainted with the reading and research services it renders.

Individual, agency, institution services:
The National Archives provides individual, agencies and institutions inside and outside the country with copies of the legal documents and information against payment of the due fees.
